Directions

From Inverness travel north and take the A9 across the Kessock Bridge (sign posted Thurso). Take the 3rd exit at the Tore Roundabout (A9 North) and follow the A9. Cross the Cromarty Bridge and take the 2nd exit (sign posted Thurso) at the roundabout. Continue past signs for Evanton, Alness and Invergordon which will lead you onto the Nigg roundabout. Take the 3rd exit onto the B9175 and follow this road until you see the Nigg Energy Park (large tanks to your right-hand side). Take the next left-turn, after the white cottage on the main road, and follow the road up the hill until you see the sand-stone cottages on your left.

The Royal Burgh of Tain is less than 10 miles away and offers a wide range of services and facilities to include supermarkets, shops, restaurants, take-aways, professional and banking services. There is a railway station that gives access to Inverness, the Highland's capital city.
