Tucked away close to the shores of the Cromarty Firth, the sandy beach at Nigg is only a short distance away, in an outstanding position at the entrance to the Inner Cromarty Firth, with great views, which makes it an ideal spot for a family walk or picnic, you might even spot some dolphins playing in the Firth.
Close by the towns of Tain, Invergordon and Dornoch, home to the
world-renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club, as well as many famous whisky distilleries, offer the ideal opportunity to explore the Highlands.
